Got to shoot something a little bit out of the norm for this place. A shot without Plexiglass! Time to celebrate.

Working on a few shots trying to make Aloe Juice look tasty.

Got to photograph my 7th vet for the series we’re working on. I am lovin’ this project.
Trying to teach myself Final Cut Pro. Last time I edited film, it was still film; Cutting and splicing with miles of 16 and 35mm film stretched out all over the place. This is my first attempt at video. I have a few projects in mind and I’m going to need to get this figured out if they’re going to turn out how I have them pictured. Wish me luck.
It’s been a lot of product lately, but I felt I had to post something. I have to get some sort of fashion shoot going. I”m going batty from all this tabletop work.

Got to photograph three more vets for Patriot Rovers late yesterday. That gets me up to six. I love the relationships between these guys and their dogs. Can’t wait until I get more of them in front of my camera. It’s going to be a nice series when we’re finished. Wondering about going with black and white, or color. My fellow shooters, any opinions?
Maria and I had about 20 minutes yesterday to play with some new lighting equipment I just got for the studio. I’m trying to come up with a different concept for some make-up ads. As usual, Maria was amazing in front of the camera.
Didn’t have much going on yesterday so I put this together. It’s just the beginning of a concept that’s been sneaking about in a back corner of my mind. I’ll see where the idea takes me. I’m seeing a combination of video and stills. Not sure. I have to wait till it matures a bit.

Just wanted to toss up a couple pages from a catalog we just finished for Motives. The designers here did a great job.

Donated some time today to cover an event which raised money for quite a few animal rescue groups. Met some great dogs. I got the feeling the guy in the bottom shot here has seen some pretty hard times. I could see it in his eyes. But, he was the sweetest, most appreciative guy there. I would have taken him home if I had a decent place with some room for him to run. It breaks my heart to see so many animals who have been deserted, neglected, and abused. I’ve heard that Mahatma Gandhi said, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” I couldn’t agree more and I think that pretty well sums it up for this country.
